Risky Ricky Riscardo  is his name, funky grooves is his game ...

Mark Collison
discovered his love of soulful music in his early teenage years through listening to pirate radio and the more discerning jocks (Starpoint, LWR, KISS 94, Solar, JFM, K-Jazz, Dr Bob Jones, Norman Jay, Gordon Mac, Gilles Peterson).  It was then weekenders, live gigs, club nights and the record shopping afterwards that started the collection rolling.

Being asked to play at friends parties and doo’s in the early 90’s led to organising the “alternative” rooms at the very successful LOLLIPOP club nights throughout London, where soul, jazz and latin beats were the order of the night against the backdrop of the house main room. This led on to Dj’ing and residencies at The Iceni club -  Mayfair, TIME Bar - Greenwich, Jazz Juice – Bexleyheath, Zen – Dartford. Recently, he had the opportunity of playing at Village Soul Tuscany 2009 and the good fortune of having superb weather for a memorable outside set.

Always more of a collector than DJ, he is never afraid to recognise the skills of his peers and their knowledge, which can always lead to obtaining new or rediscovering tunes. He is a soul-boy at heart (Northern & Modern Soul), but has a passion for boogie, rare groove, jazz.

The MK Saturday Show was started by Kunle Olafare and Mark in July 2008, following on from the DJ Swing memorial / anniversary shows. Starpoint presenter Alan Champ (www.sixmillionsteps.com) gave both KO and MC the opportunity to guest on his show, leading to them being given their own show.

Tune into the MK Saturday Show, whilst the music maybe serious, the banter aims to keep the show fun.

Trevor Martin has been hosting his ‘Soulflavas’ show since 2005 when he joined Global Grooving. He was able to move on to TGR Sound where he was able  to spread his knowledge to the more discerning listeners in SE London/NW Kent. He has also played at the"Cratediggers at the Lodge" sessions at The Lodge in Harlesden and the "Back To Back Hat Sessions" at Islington’s "Soul On Your Side" together with co-presenter Mark Collison.

On his current monthly show expect to hear soulful, funky and jazzy tunes form the 60s to the 00s.

Jeremy Cole
is a lifelong soul/funk/jazz fan, loving everything from the smoothest mid-tempo connoisseur grooves through to jazz-funk, reggae, disco, 70’s crossover and even a dash of northern for good measure.

Since he started clubbing in his original Essex boy days, he has been an avid vinyl collector.  He remember listening to Robbie Vincent and Greg Edwards at the weekends and rushing off to buy the tunes he heard at the earliest opportunity.

Although vinyl will always be his format of choice, he is bit of a technology geek and has a soft spot for Ipods, music editing software and particularly Internet radio shows (the 21st century way to search for tunes to feed the vinyl addiction).
